I joined Rowhill in April 2014 as an English TA in the secondary department. I soon went on to help run the schools Read write inc programme across the school. Whilst working here I managed to complete my Psychology degree through the open university and undertook nurture training which enabled me to set up a nurture class within the secondary department which I thoroughly enjoyed. I then got the opportunity to complete my primary teacher training which has led to me working in the transitional hub of the school as a class tutor of our nurture group, transitioning new and existing year 6 and 7 pupils into our secondary department.
